Message :The motor mounts really have no bearing on what size turbos you can run. That's determined by other upgrades that you have or have not made...like bigger injectors, bigger IC's, etc etc etc

The motor mounts have a lot to do with what size turbos you can run. The space is tight as it is, and there must be space left between the turbos and the frame rails to prevent them from colliding when the engine torques to the side when you hit the gas.

You may be able to fit slightly larger turbos with the stock engine mounts, but go any bigger and they're going to hit the frame rails when you hit the gas. That's why they sell solid motor mounts, they eliminate the flex and enable you to put larger turbos in without fear of them smashing into the rails. If they clear when the engine's off, they'll clear when you floor it.
