Message a Z gas tank ..Holy Shit!!

Supra gas tanks are much easier to work with. That is why my friend only charges around $500 for Supra Twin pumps. If you seen the inside of the Z tank you will notice there is hump or hill on top and a triangle shaped baffle on the bottom which narrows to less than 4 square inches. The hump creates obstruction that is why you can't mount two Z pumps near the top. There is no room. The two walbros pumps have to fit nicely in the triangle shaped baffle at the lowest point. It is pretty tight.

That integra tank looks like a breeze. No hump obstruction and bigger baffles.

You have to consider the labor not just the parts. He had to pay his fabricator who isn't cheap.

When you consider what Z injectors cost compared to Supras that gets expensive too. You know the Z is not the easiest car to work on. The engine compartment is tight and the fuel tank as well.

My friend changed his mind and refused to do another Z because it was a bitch. He wouldn't have done it anyways if I had five people.

You seem to go to great efforts prove how justified your prices are. Don't bag on me for what it costs to do my setup for a drop in unit. You come across as "Holier than thou" . I doubt your shop hourly rates are cheap. I guess you have the right to charge those prices and no one else.
