so I'll post this here just for record that it was said. I just dont see why you continue on with harassing me. You have lost nothing to me but have this chip on your shoulder like I shot your mother. I do a lot of things with my Z, as you are well aware of. I enjoy doing it. In the process of doing it and learning what I needed to in order to do it right, I have realized that a lot of those things can turn over some cash back to me. Although I initially have started those kinds of projects solely for the love of the car and the pleasure of designing and building my own stuff, it is a nice perk when they actually prove to be desirable items that people want. When anyone sells things in the quantities I do, there are always going to be deals that just dont go right. Granted, a few of the occasions were completely my fault by lack of attention, but that stuff is in the past and a majority of those few customers and I are still on good conversational terms. There are no hard feelings. I always came through or returned their money. I want to recap where everything has come from to the best of my recollection. Everything seemed fine and dandy until it all came out that you thought I was trying to rip you off of a transmission. But the thing is, you had already heard misinformation well before actually saying anything about it. I suspect that when things started cropping up on twinturbo.net with people trying to get their product from me, you must have decided that I was, in fact, a fraud and simply justified what you percieved was told to you about your tranny as me actually trying to rip you off. I'm terribly disappointed Ric. I know we haven't been the best of friends, but we have done some pretty cool things together: GA mountaincross meeting, car show in Tampa, hung out a few times here in gainesville... I dont understand why you would think I would actually steal your transmission - which is the simplest way to explain what you were thinking. I will tell you Ric, I had no intentions of stealing your transmission. On top of that, do you think I could actually get away with something as blatent as that? There are strict laws that would protect you from that. Not to mention, I had no intentions of ruining my life over a blown tranny. I think I have shown myself to be quite capable of a wide rage of things, which comes as a pleasant suprise to me as well. I never thought I would have gone so far with the car when I just wanted one but I have and I continue to do that simply because I am an enthusiast. When you post with the negativity you so blatently deliver, it makes this place bad for everyone. I take it with a grain of salt anymore, I simply put myself above it all. But the other people around us see this behavior and it rubs off. You aren't setting a good example and the newbs have no idea of where you and I have come from. They interpret it as the norm, especially with the frequency at which you do it. I'm telling this to you because what began as a simple bashing has now turned into an obsession. That's cool and all if you dont like me or my ways, I understand that not everyone is going to like me, but the other people dont need to be put through it routinely. I wish you would have read my previous post - I am attempting to show you that I'm not the con you are trying to make me out to be. I offered you a FREE chip. You can take it to a dyno and prove it for yourself if you have question about it. Or, you could just sell it to someone for $200 (which is what I charge for it). That's up to you. But I'd bet that with a better tuned program you would be able to hit mid to low 14's with your Z. I'd like to see someone who knows what they are doing at the track run it a few times..
