Message They pushed 500 miles too early in my opinion. But you have to remember that Z was prepped beyond prepped and ready for a quick breakin. Unless you've gone to the lenghts that he did on all around flow and temp drops and coating. I wouldn't even think about it until my 2nd if not 3rd oil change. I do agree with ZleepyZ on the break in oil. I believe that is very beneficial, but that isn't supposed to take the place of 500 miles of break in by the engine. Even the write up on the SCC said they were pushing it by doing a dyno that early. They said they would wait until full break in and then they would really test the engine. Take you time, man. The last thing you want to do is mess the engine up. It takes time, let the break in run it's course then have all the dyno fun you want. But that is just my opinion and that of my mechanic (which I trust with my life and most importantly my Z). Hope this helped and good luck.
