but I can relate to "rescuing" her! I would not give the 4 grand, imho.

: Being as how i dont have a 300zx anymore (i now own a 1991 mr2 turbo)... My friend has one and its been sitting in my driveway for about 4 months now cause i told him id hold it here for him as a favor. He now drives an audi and is gonna sell it. Anyway.... Reason hes not driving it is cause the 5-speed tranny died so the z isnt going no where. Another problem is that the coolant output hose is busted and leaking. Some other minor problems is the a/c has a leak somewhere, missing the t-top shades, foglighs arent good and if im not mistaken the alt is only putting out minimal voltage (12.9-13.0 when acessories r on). Now theres a 93 tranny in the trunk (i beleive these were made with the upgraded syncros) set to replace the one thats shot. After installing that (most likely gonna do that myself) and a coolant hose, the car will run no problem. He wants 4000 dollars for the car as is. Its a 1990 300zx N/A 5-speed with 150K miles on it. Its cream colored with tan interior. Has somewhat of an OK system in it. Aside form what i stated... everything else works. So what do u guys/gals think of this deal? Should i get it or pass? Thanx in advance for any opinions given.
