Message	Some is 10% ethanol (Sunoco), some has MTBE (BP), some have fuel detergents. All suppliers are being pushed to use ethanol instead of MTBE, so they are getting to be more similar. I am sure that some of the generic gas stations share suppliers with the big boys, but that doesn't mean all gasoline is the same. I choose not to buy gas with MTBE unless I have to. Just a few ounces of MTBE can pollute a whole resevoir of water.
