The V6 will be mated to a six-speed Getrag gearbox, with a CVT due a year after launch in early 2005. The auto is undergoing final development, but apparent slippage trouble due to the excessive power has been plaguing prototypes." Let me get this straight... they're having problems getting an auto tranny to hold 400 hp, but the CVT holds it ok? Auto trannies can usually hold power no problem, and it's the CVT's that have always had problems handling lots of power. How can Nissan have problems holding 400hp when their old auto tranny from the Z32 holds stage 3 levels just fine? Also, the electrically assisted twin turbo thing sounds a little suspicious to me. All in all that article sounds a bit hokey.
