Ok guys/gals I have gotten some feedback from the vendor I am trying to organize this group buy with and here is how things look right now.. Blitz
retail ~$225
5+ orders $180 (that's each BOV).
And the hard pipe kits are no longer available..
Retail prices for 300ZX TT kits:
Apex $428
HKS $695
With 5 buyers:
Apex $340
HKS $525
With 10 buyers:
Apex $320
HKS $510
Also in order to make the numbers on the GB I am going to solicit other forums and have them boost numbers in hopes of boost our price break. Here is what was said on that
You had mentioned the possibility of other car makes being involved.
HKS makes kits for Stealth/300GT, Talon/Eclipse, RX7, Supra, and MR2 and we could work similar discounts. Also there is a universal HKS BOV: retail $235, 5 buyers $190.
Apex makes kits for RX7, Supra, MR2, Eclipse, and 3000GT. Also universals for retail $205, 5 buyers $155 >>> So what I need feedback is on what BOV do people want to get? Currently I am really wanting the Blitz for myself. Also hard pipes are an issue. Seem like nobody has them for less than $450 for a set which will make the BOV GB price really shoot up there. Does anyone want me to try and also arrange a GB on some Silcon Hoses which are strong enought to hold the BOVs? Or try and find out someone who can make something for us? I believe there is a member already doing this does anyone have his phone number? I will provide an update on the suspension GB as soon as I hear back something I will contact that vendor tommorrow..
