Message ...that is that I really race my car, it's not a dyno queen, and it has a bigger oil cooler, huge radiator, and NO AC condenser, and it still had oil temp issues. Now, the abuse that I give my car is probably a little extreme, but I am postiive from my own experience that an FMIC would kill my car in the real racing that I have done.

Additionally, there are few people who have spent the money required to own an FMIC who are gonna step out and say "my FMIC was a bad decision."

The FMIC is probably a good choice for the drag racer, but I doubt that it is a good choice for those who want to drive the car a lot. That is my opinion, but it is an opinion based on the simple fact that a huge intercooler in front of the radiator and the oil cooler WILL REDUCE THEIR EFFECTIVENESS. There is absolutely no way that their effectiveness is not going to be reduced, because you are putting a big obstacle right in the stream.

Remember, I don't even have an AC condenser in front of my radiator and oil cooler, and my oil temps were still high!

My opinion, then, which is based on my real racing experience, is that FMIC's are a bad decision for those folks who want to drive their high output cars on the road a lot. If you wanna drive to the dyno and back, hey, have at it. See, you didn't even have to go to Japan to get that real opinion from a real racer.
