FMIC's are intended to be mounted up front and air still goes through it. Air is also pushed under the car and from the stock intercooler holes. Why don't all the other cars with front mounts overheat? PrimeSpeed sold a FMIC to a customer that lives in CA and he has a stock cooling system and everything is ok. He has never overheated even with the AC on. I will try to get his name for you. Zroc lives in New Orleans and hasn't had any problems either. Does Project Z have to have it so you can mount it? If you are really scared, add a bigger radiator and a cooler thermostat.
: those days, meaning over 85°, not counting the humidity you can not add a factor to it. If you block the only source of air flow or limit it you are playing with fire. : FMIC looks good but there are better alternatives to lower intake air temp or to gain couple of H/P like bigger and better ventilated SMIC, water spray, air to water, ice box.
