Message	make. anytime i have to take my car in, i put a nice big sign on the steering wheel saying "rev limiter set at 3000 rpm, data logging is on". when i pick it up, i hook up my laptop, download all the info from while it's been sitting there, and look through the log to make sure they didn't take it for a fun ride. it's probably too late for you now, but maybe something to consider for next time.
