The reason you should want to dyno tune in 4th, is because its 1:1 ratio. And if you only tuned the 3rd gear, your A/F can still be off in 4th because in the higher gears you have more load on the engine, therefore if the fuel curve was perfect in third it can easily be too lean in 4th.
