reliability. When one starts pushing their vehicle beyond a factories specifications, some stock equipment will need some strengthening. The clutch is one of those pieces. It may hold for some time, but the level of wear you are placing is more excessive and burning the clutch at a faster rate. This in tales destroys a normal clamping force clutch at a much faster rate. Higher clamping force clutches have materials like kevlar & carbon for these reasons... to handle friction, heat & force at higher levels of driving. Now "Why you don't get a 500hp ready clutch from the factory?" is what pisses me off. Hope this helps explain.
