Fill me in on this :) People say that after going to stage 3, the stock clutch wont hold it for long. It would be logical to me if you would go to stage 3 and the first time you take it out and boost the car it would slip - okay, not enough clamping/friction whatever. But it doesnt make sense that it would hold for a month, and then start to slip. I mean, if you're at stage 3, there's more torque at max boost that the clutch has to hold, but if it clamps it once, it will always clamp it. You cannot wear out clutch by having it engaged, no matter the torque. If it holds it for the first week, it will also for 2nd week, it wont wear it out. Clutch only wears when you slip it, and that only happens (in my case at least) starting from stop. During shifting, if you rev match it always there's minimal to no at all slipping. Sooo, where is my thinking wrong, cause obviously the fact is that ppl wear out clutches at stage 3? Is this just due to more brutal take offs and bad driving?
