Message mind me askin, how much do you have in your gtx? I got my GSX Eclipse from the original owner with 80k for $2500 a couple years ago, and right now its quicker than my ttz with about $4k in the entire package. Of course, thats a big 16 turbo, 3" exhaust, injectors, etc. My galant is stock, but soon should be about as fast as the GSX, and that will surprise all the hillbillies in this town with mustangs and irocs...lol. Let me know if you ever see any more GTXs down in sactown, as I would love to find one to play with.....

: Let's set the record straight:

: My 323 is a pos. No AC, no radio, a dented door, a bit of rust. It looks like hell, runs pretty good most of the time. They aren't known for their reliablity, or strong gearboxes or transfer cases, but mine's done pretty well.

: I didn't pay much for it, and fixing the cracked head wasn't THAT bad.

: THE ONLY reason I got it, was my 390 Galaxie was drinking gas, and running poorly. I needed something cheaper on fuel. I just happened to find a GTX.

: Insuring the two cars is cheaper than just the Z.

: I have NO worries about the 323. If I crash it, good thing it wasn't my Z.

: Also, when I do drive the Z, I think I appreciate it that much more. So smooth, so STRONG.

: I couldn't find a Galant, BUT my 323 has Galant VR4 brakes, drilled for that matter. ;)

: For a daily driver, I think AWD is the way to go, that is if you have to deal with lots of rain, or snow from time to time. I also like razing the poor RWD folks. ;)
