Been posting this around lately putting out fires ( Supra big heads ). When you look at who's on top and not going anywhere for a while it's the Z32 VG motor. When money has not been an object the Z holds the record for Top Import Speed record and until that Toyota Celica came along, was looking to be the first in the 200mph zone. Which to me is fine, as long as those other fools ( just a joke now,,lol ) didn't think there dominate in all factors. Where taken the car and keeping it's original platform motor and building it for the conditions on which it's intended to be used for it's out ran that JZ in both top speed and 1/4. So why do they say the JZ is better, I don't get it. Why are they so talked about as king on the hill? Don't get it. When looking up Pro drag Imports, not one 7 second Supra to be found using a JZ, yet the Pro Z's are pushing close to 6's now. Using VG Z32 motors. Boy talk about a way lack of respect by the Magazines we've all seen threw out the years. Boils down to it, it's ease of working on, and options available I say and when you look at it from that stand point, that's why there's just more higher powered those running around, for that reason. I think RX's have the best RWHP output for displacement, but seem to lack the stamina that the VG and JZ come with. 3000GT/vr/ Dodge. Well, not much to say there, but good for the first 60k, then comes the problems, breaks. To much going on there. Skyline, worth the price in Japan, but not here Stateside, I don't care what it does. No way that car's worth some 90K. I think the MID-4 was based off one of those (Skyline) and came out being the Z32. Same 3.0L V-6 motor twinturbo, only it was AWD and had HICAS system. NSX-T, far over price as well. So not worth the performance ( IMOP ). That's like 90K for that.
STAGE V++++ Going to XIII and beyond :) |
