When I can't see one gear being worth all that. Hell, if you had that kinda money and you wanted more out of your 5 speed. Drop the stock gears and replace the gear ratio's with OS Giken gears that Zedparts sells. They will let you run near 200mph and still get more out of 1st,2nd and 3rd. OS Giken transmission gear set sells for like $1700+ Strengthened gears and closer spacing, ideal for circuit racing. Available gear ratios: 1st gear = 2.695 2nd gear = 1.703 3rd gear = 1.236 1st gear = 2.695 2nd gera = 1.669 3rd gear = 1.246 Also available optional 5th gear with ratio of 0.826. Where the stock tranny on a 7200 redline and stock rear end on a TT will run you this. 1st to 45mph
2nd to 74mph
3rd to 110mph
4th to 143mph
5th to 190mph That's on stocks 16" rims as well. Change it to these rims and tires you'll run higher. 285/ 35/ 18's 1st to 47mph
2nd to 78mph
3rd to 115mph
4th to 150mph
5th to 199mph Now with new gearing from OS running that first set of gears you'll get more 1st,2nd and 3rd. If you add the optional 5th gear in it, you'll lose a lot of top end. Stock rims and tires: 1st to 53mph
