I used new stock hardware when I put it all back together too. Did you use the same grade number bearing that were previously installed? Sounds like one or more rod bearings are binding. Did you install the crank and torque it down first prior to installing pistons and rods?

: have any of you found when rebiulding the engine that using the stock torque specs for installing the rods causes the cranck not to turn freely. Did I not read some ARP information correct? Nissan manual says to torque to 10-12 ft lbs then torque to 44-46 ft lbs. Am I missing something? What have you all done?
