Message Indeed I added the Energy Suspension Urethane bushings for my tension rods. I must say they made a WORLD of difference compared to my well worn stock bushings (that had leaked out). I was actually scared of the car at first because there was SO much play in the steering before that I could cruise and not have to adjust often hehe. But when I put the Energy on, it was twitchy compared to the worn out ones. I hated it at first, but grew to love it since it's the way it should be. Steering is VERY responsive! I can only imagine out Adjustible tension rods must feel because they are aluminum bushings. However, I hear that you really feel the road with those...so for lots of driving on city streets and freeways it might be slightly unpleasant...and then there's the cost.

Unless you have some seriously off suspension or you had an accident, I'd stick with the Urethane bushings. At $33 from [ www.suspension.com ] you can't go wrong. All you need it a place that has a press to install them as you'll need to press the old ones out. It's 30-45 minutes of work if they aren't total Z idiots :)

For around $300 you can have the Stillen or SGP adjustibles or for $185 you can have the AMS which are adjustible but NOT on the car. Unless you really need them, go for the urethane. Or if you have money to blow =)

The world's two biggest mysteries: The meaning of life and fitting the Howe radiator into the Z...
