Subject	Why do big trucks sound like turbocharged cars?

Message	I've never really noticed the similarities in the sounds but big diesel trucks sometime sound like they're turbocharged. Is it the intake system? I know next to nothing about heavy trucks. I know some fire trucks are turbocharged, but I didn't think other freight trucks were. Thanks for any LOGICAL responses. "...Downpipes own.
