identity in higher HP. Performance is an allure in itself, whereas styling is subjective. It's a good marketing strategy. It entices potential buyers by getting them out on test drives. Lets face it, Lexus has the built to "perfection" luxo theme nailed, Acura has the sensible, well built (but somewhat bland), upscale market. Infiniti's going for luxury performance. Really, I think it's part of Nissan's mandate as a whole - to offer class leading HP in each of it's respective models.
