I mean a lot of people wouldn't even take on such a car. But in your case I would have taken that run myself. Those car's are such a gamble to run and there stock platforms are just awesome. I know as well, because a friend I know here in town has a GTS/R and I just want to do a fun run with him so bad,,,lol. Yet I know it would be a kill like no other take by me,,,, lol. Yet last year at a Dyno Run I watched of a GTS with only a chip upgrade did 420rwhp. It's not so much the power they put out, it's that high ass torque at such a low engine speed. GTS's are just a tad lighter than our Z's. I've seen here at Portland race way on Friday and Saturday nights all threw out the summer and fall, they have open night where you can just race anything you bring as long as it's safe and track ready. There's two guys that come out all the time with there ACR's. They run mid 12's everytime and I want to line up on one of those so bad,,,,lol. Because I think with slicks and race gas it would be a good race, for a Z with just an air filter, exhaust and a boost controller ,,,, lol. But take a look at this site.
