Message	I think the biggest reason is speed. At the time, the Supra turbo was the fastest car for $50k or less. A bone-stock '93 Supra Turbo does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. A bone-stock '93 300ZX TT does it in the high 5's. The Supra is also almost a second faster in the 1/4 mile. Now would I rather have a Z? Of course. Even for the same price I'll take the Zcar. But I'm not consumed by straight-line acceleration, so the Supra's biggest selling point isn't my biggest interest.
