Message	Alpine is no doubt the most inovative mobile audio manufacturer..but it seems they concentrate their efforts in areas others cant even dream about. But with this..they also turn a blind eye in areas they should have looked at too...thats why the american manufacturers are a little more advanced in amplification and low frequency transducer design. As i said..Alpine was 3 years behind in changing their power supplies to mosfet..but ad state of the art processors and HU's..go figure. My brother owns a mobile audio shop in Markham and he services OEM radios, stereos and Cd players for Honda, Acura, BMW, Toyota and others. He tells me alot of Alpines influence is from the manufacturer itself. Alpine had invented the proximity sensor for Mercedes Benz long before they introduced it to their 8080 alarm As the 3 disc in-dash was available to Toyota before they brought it to market with "Alpine" tagged on it. What shop are you going to??
