Message	My brother just had a 15" sub proffesionally installed with a custom box and wiring. It sounded terrible. So he called MTX and they told him it was for competition use only. It's made to be really loud for 15 seconds but sound quality was not considered when they made this sub. The word "terrible" only begins to describe the quality of sound coming from this sub. It's loud, certainly, but the only people you'll impress with the sound will be those holding a decible metering device. It just matters what you are going for. For daily cruising, I would just turn it off. For competitions, I'd turn it on. For 10 seconds. By the way, your NA looks fantastic in your sig. Would you like to buy my '91 Red NA 300ZX?
