Message is from the bolts you are using. Platinum will not deteriorate either.

: I got alot of questions in my email... so i'll adress it as follows;

: We are still working on it. it's day to day testing right now, but our first indications on a single element hydrogen generator are very encouraging.

: our test vehicle averages 30-35mpg BEFORE hydrogen injection. (2002 hyundai accent, 96 front whp)
: As of late last night, and only a half tank of gas, we are roughly at 46.2mpg. We filled up last night with full tank of premium and our official first full tank of gas testing has started with new electrodes and water (the source of hydrogen).

: We are going to run two tanks of gas in the current configuration, before adding a second set of electrodes. the second set of electrodes should increase mileage an additional 20-40% over single electrodes.

: There is however one negative with our cobbled design; Once the hydrogen in the water has been seperated, there is residue that is left over from the chemical conversion of the water. This requires cleaning the tank every two or three tanks of gas. It also usually requires new electrodes as the chemical conversion slowly etches away the metal of the electrodes. (PS, our electrodes are simply $.46 cent bolts).

: i'll see if i can compile all the links for a future post, but alot of this has been done via an private email list. FWIW, we are using several different combinations of DIY "kits" and info to get what we want. Others have done similar things, but differently (chemicals, plumbing, routing, and catalysts.)

: so far, we are very pleased. once we get everything documented, we will be installing a kit on my z32 for the twinturbo.net community to share.
