your ECU that allows you to directly modify the fuel maps, timing maps, rev limiter, speed limiter VTC trigger and release RPM's, injector sizing, single/dual pop, everything.. The hardware comes with a software interface that works with W95/98/2000 and displays the information and allows you to modify it. The Zemulator does not require the computer to function. It is relatively small, about 6"X2"X3" and will fit under the floorboard with the ECU. It has a 6' serial cable that you can route through the center console and tuck away when you dont need it. Installation will take about 30 minutes and the unit will come preprogrammed with safe maps for your current setup's capability. It will be out within a month and will cost ~$450.
