Message I stick to what I know is best. I didn't even know about the click type until a couple of years ago. When I saw it my first reaction was "that's pretty badass". But then I go to thinking about it, its got some hidden black magic shit in there and how do I know it is actaully correct? A flexing steel rod is much simpler and IMHO, simpler is better. Then a buddy of mine, who is an ASE certified master tech told me that the flexneedle type is the most accurate and most consistent. It amazed me, but it makes perfect sense. Why make it more complicated than you have to?

: torque wrench. I have two sets of torque wrenches. 1-20 ft lbs and 21 -250 ft lbs. click type husky brand. I always back down my torque wrench to zero for storage.
