I tested my car tonight after driving it around for a half an hour pretty vigorously. 1 130 2 125 3 125 4 140 5 135 6 141 I found it odd that cylinder 6 had the highest compression of them all. It looks like they're within about 11% of each other, but the numbers seem low overall. Nissan service manual says that 171 is max and 128 is minimum. Could my rings in 2 and 3 be bad maybe? The motor only has 41k original miles on it, but I've been boosting 15 pounds lately on 91 octane in high heat, and I'm worried that I caused this. I've really only heard detonation once and I immediately backed off (and that was when it was at stock boost after running the air conditioning for 25 minutes at idle on a 100 degree day). Also I noticed slight detonation on each plug (small white speckles, but there were very few of them and they were very fine).
