ok, this is what has happened. I went to sonic boom in New orleans to get an intake done. Well, when I went before, they said that they could make it for $120-140. He said that he would bend the intake tubes and polish them. Well, I went the other day and told them to do it, but then I found out that all he did was take out the old air box and put on a cone filter. He charged me $183. It also pissed me off when I put on the old one in less than 30 min. I should work there insted of the guy that put it on. Now, today I tried to get my money back, but he said that they don't give cash refunds. What I want to know is whether it is worth getting store credit towards an Injen intake or just staying with the cone intake I have already. Is it worth the bother? Am I going to get more horsepower? Will it be noticeable? And advice would help.
