First off, Get a US acoustics amp. The USX4085 and 4065 are absolutely amazing for the money. I actually own both. They can be had on ebay for no more than 125 bucks. As for speakers, I say Get 6.5" adapters and spend a little cash on a nice coax or cheap Component set. (the new alpine TypeR sets have gotten rave reviews and can be found < $150) With an amp like a usx4065 you will have about 75 watts running the front speakers, and bridge the rear channels on the sub to attain over 200watts. My usx amp tested out with over 40watts more output than advertised. Heres an ebay auction for a USX-4065 to give you a feel for their specs and price. --->http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1381824269 But My personal opinion; get a decent component set, and a usx 4 channel amp. You will not be disapointed. PS: What kind of sub do you have, and what are the voice coil specs?
Having a bad day? So is this guy.
