Message : took longer for the car to stop with these then the stockers.

The Stock 350Z was tested with different tires and suspension, different day etc. As the article says the new suspension had way too much negative camber and the tire patch was less than stock suspension especially under braking. Plus the magazine torched the tires prior to the brake test. So StopTech had a smaller tire patch and what we had was shredded. When we test brake systems we like to test with the same car, driver and tires as the stock system.

Sportcompact car did not have time to do an objective test. We plan to test the 350Z as we did with the 300Z using the same tires, same day, same driver. We expect to equal or exceed the stock system. It is very hard to beat a stock system in the 60-0 test with stock tires since the stock system can lock brakes. It is easier to beat stock at the high speeds like 80-0 and 100-0.

We thank the staff at Sport Compact for the opportunity to be on the 350Z.
