: every sense i was in basic training, the boots F"ed up my feet bad, they only ones that feel good are nikes. but i have never tryed ecco and mephisto. new to me.
Both M and E are light weight, very comfortable, durable, good leather and lining used.
Good M shoes (city shoes) starts at $285+, and
Good E shoes (city shoes) starts at $170+.
Both are good; depend on what kind and which line you go with.
With M, while the soles are worn, the shoes can be sent back with $80, and they will change new soles and new linings, and by then the leather is still like new if it's been treated.
Tho they are a bit pricy, but they are definitely worth.

If one can buy a $120+ tire, why can't one spend same money to buy a nice pair to treat oneself?! Afterall, one walks/works to get paid and pays tires. Try them out and you won't regret, but get the RIGHT kinds.
