Message which has its limitations. That unit simply modifies sensor data to 'fool' the ECU into doing what you want it to. The Zemulator will allow you to go directly to the source (maps) and change the values - any value at that (rev limiter, throttle enrichment, etc etc etc)...


: what is the advantage of an aftermarket standalone ecu vs. having full controll of the factory ecu via something like the zemulator? am i REALLY missing something here? does the aftermarket allow for larger a/f or ignition maps? more tuning points?
