Message Especially if you live in a hot climate, oil coolers are extremely important. They don't have to be special (Stillen)but IMHO for the Z volume is vital. The VG engine holds very little oil for a V6, twin turbos - need I say more, it runs extremely hot stock, the cooling systems which were so-so at best when new are becoming insufficient, power mods increase heat, and lets face it, the cars are 10+ years old now.
I ran 2 large oil coolers from Summit racing for a while and the performed very well. I am planning on having a custom oil cooler made to hold 3-4 quarts.
