Even if I slam on my stock brakes hard enough, the tires will lose traction to the ground and the ABS will kick in. This is not a limitation of the stock brakes, this is a limitation of the physical grip to the ground.

: For a simple 60-0 stopping test the bottleneck should not be the brakes but the tires' grip.

In this platform we found that a stiffer caliper and a little more front brake torque could improve stopping distances. With Stock tires at 60-0 the differences would have been less. The stiffer caliper and better heat capacity is a big advantage at 80 and 100-0 where the stock system flexs more especially when hot.
