I agree totally that larger rotors will help with heat dissipation and prevent fading, that's why in my post to Luke I said "The way I see it, on a brake test (that doesn't involve fading) the tires are going to be the bottleneck as long as you're able to get the car to skid" In a 60 to 0 test there is no fading involved. I don't know about your car but I know for sure on mine that I can get my brakes to lock up from 60 to 0 mph. Therefore, on a 60 to 0 test (what my original post was about) larger rotors will NOT decrease stopping distance. Only when you make repeated stops and your stock brakes begin to fade will you see the benefit of larger rotors with their superior heat dissipation. Remember, I never said that the stock brakes resist fade, I just said that in a simple 60-0 stopping test, the tires' physical grip to the ground will be the limiting factor.
