Message Wtf? (i like the nuclearing arming bit lol). The whole flow chart thing is kinda weird at first too. Hit this button then imidiatly that one, or hold this button same times as that one while you turn unit on etc etc. Guess thats the price you pay for having a unit with lots of features but only 4 buttons and a knob.

Tim, (Silvertwin)told me he sold his cause it kept changing the boost setting, and odd as it may be the manual doesn't mention it does this. It tells you that you can lock it, but not why you might want to. I found it out after scouring the search one night. But you want to adjust your ofset until the boost it reads matches your boost gauge. Then lock it. Else it will keep adjusting itself.

At least once its set you don't have to do anything but hit a button for high or low. If im not mistaken there is no high low button on the avc-r, I think you have to go through an on screen menu... as if when your driving.
