and welded... I know for certain that the weld for the pipe would take at most 3 minutes to weld with a TIG. The minimum around here for welding is $20. Since it doesn't require any materials, my machinist would probably cut me a break and only charge me $10 or tell me to bring a case of beer next time I'm coming in. : This was a year and a half ago and I can't find any welder who even wants to touch it. The one guy who will (who built some of my dad's custom cars) said it's a lot of work to have it look like the custom Howe radiator (correct size inlet and outlet pipes, shroud mounting holes, draing plugs, etc.). His suggestion was that I'd be better off buying the custom one but he'll do the work but it won't be any cheaper. Just my experiences with generic radiators.
