Message Well a few weeks ago I posted about using electric fans. Most of you guys said it was junk and that it wouldn't cool enough. Some of you actually tried it..failed, and a couple made it work. I persisted to try it w/ encouragement from my boss. All I can say now is that I am very glad I did it. My setup now runs cooler than the traditional fan clutch setup. I was able to drive it on that Malibu canyon cruise in hot weather climbing hills w/ no problems. Normal driving in cool or hot weather gets me a max temp. of 183 degrees. It actually runs 177 degrees most of the time! Pushing the car in high heat on the hills for strenuos amounts got me a high of 198 degrees. The car feels crisper and revs real easy too. Not to mention I can actually see my red UD pulley and powdercoated water pipes. The only issues w/ fitment was the lower radiator pipe. It's stock location would make it rub up against the power sterring pulley...not good. I had to use a Stillen lower radiator pipe and cut up the stock hose to make it all work. I thought I would let you guys know.
