...is dumb. A number of engines are capable of producing big power with correct prep, and any of them are also capable of melting down without proper management. At the Pony Express 2001, a heavily modded Supra blew up not far from the starting line. Does that mean the motor is poor? No, it means there was a weak link somewhere that wasn't addressed. A Supra motor comes with forged parts? We'd all be smokin' crack to think that any of these motors are more *cost-effective* than a Small Block Chevy in trying to build a reliable, high-HP motor. Surely, the Japanese turbo motors are excellent mills, but you will spend money to make it happen. I hope it's not news to folks that anyone who claims that Supra motors are somehow superior to all others is either misinformed, or just elitist, lookin' for some attention. Well, I really don't know what is wrong with them, so ignore my attempt to psycho-analyze. The Supra motor is a great motor, but not superior to all others - my opinion. RSR
