well, if youve read any of my previous posts, you would know that i have been having a problem keeping my driveshafts in one piece. well they decided to make me a steel one to replace the alum ones that keep breaking. I installed it last week, and only got to drive it for a day (another story) but i did test the shaft that day, and of course, with my luck, its vibrating. I swear, if its not one thing its another. Now, this was a prototype shaft from them, however, that would only explain the fitment if there were problems there, which there were not. This should not affect how a driveshaft was balanced, which was obviously not done correctly. It is vibrating from 55mph on. I have basically decided that i am not going to ship it back to them b/c this is getting rediculous, im changing driveshafts every damn week, well, almost. I will just have a local place re-balance the shaft. I also requested that i be reimbursed 100.oo to make up the difference in price between the alum and steel shaft. I dont know if they will do it or not, but i would hope they do in the name of customer service. So pretty much, im in a pretty shitty situation now. oh, and i couldnt drive it anymore b/c of a cracked radiator hose =( ah, the joys of owning a modded car :)Here are some pics of the new shaft to keep you pic whores happy :)
