Message Was the best 8 years I could have asked for. It's what you make of it. What's your MOS? What side of the states do you live, meaning San Diego or Parris Island? I spent just about more time out of the states, then in, in those years. Got shot at, send many things hard to believe. Eat foods that I never would have imagined. Many, many drunk nights, silk sheets from Korea, Swords from Japan, beer glasses from Norway, post cards from Egypt, money from Africa, many pictures and women, women, women,,, lol.

Trust me bro, you will come out a changed man. Do like I did, live in the barracks for free, eat at the chowhall for free and come 1st and 15th paychecks all yours. All new Marines buy nice watches and a good set of Friday/Saturday night E club clothes ,,, lol.

Lets us know when you get back, cool. Good luck. Stay mentally focused and your body will pull you threw it. The Drill instructors are there to break you down and rebuild you in the fine killing machine that everyone hears of. They wont physically kill you, but you will wish you where in that first phase of initial shock,,,lol. It's a long month. Very, very long days, lots of yelling, running, classes, and drill. Shit is going to be going so fast, your not going to have time to think about home, girl back home, your car or life as it once was. But in the end when it's all said and done and your at that graduation ceremony, listing to them words saying that you are now a Untied States Marine. I'm telling you now, it will be something that last with you for the rest of your life no matter how long or short you give the Marines. Once a Marine, always a Marine..........

STAGE V++++
Going to XIII and beyond :)
