Message	My fiancee had to explain to me that in Brazil everyone uses a yellow gold band, placed on the right hand when engaged - when they marry, they swap hands to the left. I got her a diamond anyway, (she secretly wanted an American-style engagement ring) but no one down there thinks she's engaged, walking around with a white gold diamond ring on her left hand, so she ends up getting a yellow gold band too.
