Message	But I have pulled both using this method and been able to do it. the first time that I tried, I didn't have all the shifter assembly removed, and the long stud on the V shaped piece would not let me get the tranny high enough. Once I figured that out, and removed it, I was able to get the tranny that extra 3 inches or so higher, and it slid right out.
