Message ... sounds great. I sealed the port with a hunk of a broom stick and some hot glue to seal it in there. Find some good sealing material (gasket of some sort) to go between the plastic enclosure and the speaker because when you enlarge the hole a bit, it won't be compeletely flat.

Also, make sure that your door panels are not going to be touching the rubber speaker surrounds. You can take some flour or other suitable transferrant and put it on the inside of the door panel before you reattach it. Once you play some music for a couple minutes, take the panel back off and see if any of the substance on the inside of the door panel transferred to the speaker rubber surrounds. If so, use a dremel to grind down the fibrous material that the door is made of so that there is proper clearance. (Yes, I had this problem, and hence had to modify the door panel a bit from the inside. Nothing shows on the face of the door panel so it still retains its stock look.) You don't want to wear out your rubber surrounds... don't learn the hard way by wasting a speaker because there wasn't enough clearance :)

Cheers.

PS> No, no pictures. It was the middle of winter and I was trying to get it done while working on the car at nights. So I didn't take any pictures. I should get some taken when I buy a digicam and I'll post them somewhere. If you need any more info, please don't hesitate to give me an e-mail.
