Well, powertrain garaunteed the alum shafts would hold 800 lbs tq, obviously that is not true. Steel is the next step, and if that fails, on to carbon fiber, then lastly, back to stock if nothing else works, but im sure steel will. As for my times, that 12.6 was done at 19 lbs of boost and on my stock 245's, which were worn down to the threads when i changed them only one month after that run. So, yea, id call that traction problems :) since then i have gone back two times, both times breaking this shaft with my new 275s out back, and running more boost, around 22. (avs sports btw) oh, and my dyno #s were VERY smooth considering i have not tuned my setup yet. power was not peaky at all.
