Re: Fender Repair If it is just a matter of replacing and painting that one panel you should expect something in the $2k range if you go with new parts and a quality shop - less if you get parts from the junkyards / go to Maaco. From my experience, however (I had to replace that panel about two years ago) costs can rise significantly depending on what kind of collateral damage there is (to frame/supports/trim/etc.). Re: The Tickets You need to check and see: 1) if those are point offenses in CA, and 2) whether your insurance company counts that type of ticket when formulating their rates (it should be disclosed in the big insurance packet you get every year). As soon as you find out then you'll know what your options are. Re: What Now? You know that the guy in the POS is going to be looking for $$. If you do not want to have the insurance company pay for it you can talk to him about what sort of compansation he is looking for, but if he is planning to file medical claims or is being unreasonable about repairs you are better off letting your insurance company handle it.
