First off, that sucks. He built the motor, he should fix it. But anyway, what you might be able to do is remove the upper intake, take off the valve covers and re-torque the heads. It may be that one of the head bolts, if you have head bolts, may have streached a little. Or, if you have head studs, he may have missed one of the 90 lb. torque cycles. When you torque down the heads, you first torque the bolts to 35 lbs, come back and torque them to 90. THEN, you loosen them all, and repeat the prosses. He could have missed one. However, if you do try and check the torque, just set the torque wrench to 90 lbs, start with the center bolts, alternating between the top and bottom, and work your way to the end bolts. Don't worry about doing the 35 to 90 and loosening steps. Good luck
