-extrude honed exhaust manifolds (or tubular manifolds) -bigger radiator (Koyo is nice) (cooling sys is weak imo) -hard lower radiator pipe -peak/hold EGTx2/Boost/Coolant temp gauges (we have a few customers who *THINK* they know what the gauges read when their motors went boom...but they're not sure...peak/holds solve this) -clutch (clutch and flywheel combo would be nice) -3" is a good size...not NECESSARY but it'll help keep temps down some -if you get the bug to have the motor itself worked on be sure the casting flash in the main coolant passage is ground off) -lots of real hose clamps to hold the hoses on under boost If your motor has never been pulled before expect to replace a bunch of small vac/water hoses, electrical connectors, mounts, and that sort of thing (FYI...replacing all the hoses will run a few hundred $ for the parts alone)
